WHAT WE DO
Our expeditions to the Polar Regions offer a unique view
of people and places at the tipping point of climate change. Supported
by robust educational and public policy initiatives, we are making a
tangible impact on public awareness concerning the threat of global
climate change. To advance state and federal policy that addresses
solutions to global warming, we are mobilizing the public and elected
officials through the compelling narrative and credibility of the
eyewitness account.
Our programs provide an international
platform for furthering education, discussion and civic engagement,
offering unique opportunities for public interaction with prominent
policy makers, scientists, journalists and business leaders.
The
Will Steger Foundation supports responsible and sustainable stewardship
of our planet by presenting facts in context with the stories and
images of the people and places impacted by global warming, and
connecting people to people, across the boundaries of nationality and
culture.
